The cylinder top surface was decked to provide a perfect gasket sealing surface. (Work was performed by L.A. SLEEVE). Cylinder was never installed and run on an engine is considered to be in “like new” condition.Sleeves from are made from chrome-moly iron alloy and will never flake, chip or peel. Their iron alloy has a super long wear life. ( rings will wear out much sooner than the sleeves, just re-ring and keep running). The material provides a high co-efficiency of heat transfer, sleeved cylinders with liners run cooler than plated bores. One more advantage, sleeved cylinders can now be bored to the next oversize piston.Just one cylinder available.
