It does not matter where you are; you can encounter hills anywhere. It could be the rolling foothills of the Rockies or maybe just a tall driveway down in Florida. At some point, you are going to have to pull your Yamaha up a hill. This juncture in time is when belt problems are revealed. You will start to pull up the pitch and hear a squeal. Then, it will seem like your power got zapped from your golf cart’s engine. Thin, stretched-out belts are usually to blame.
The Yamaha 4-Cycle Drive Belt rides inside of s spinning clutch. Over time the belt will wear down and get thinner. It’s also going to get hot from constant friction and stretch out. Both of these things are detrimental to your golf cart’s performance. You want your Yamaha to perform just like it did when it rolled off the line. Make sure this is the case with a new aftermarket belt and get the torque you deserve!
