CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE: Coil sprung shock is better suited to all-out trail riding as it keeps its composure when it gets chattery and stays consistent all the time, giving the rider supple feedback and more traction. It’s still very commonly used on heavy duty downhill and enduro mountain bikes, as it tends to handle heat better inherently.
MULTIPURPOSE: Can be used on wheelchairs to help absorb tiring vibration, as well as bumps and shocks.
