Lightsand accessories WILL BE DAMAGED if the system is hookedup to a 36-volt or 48-volt or any other voltage exceeding 12 volts.Damage from incorrect wiring or operating this kit at a higher voltageThan 12 volts will VOID ALL WARRANTIES.If batteries can be configured to only supply 12 volts (e.g. two 6V or one 12V battery) light kit can be hooked up directly but is not recommended.For all electric carts a voltage reducer is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.After voltage reducer is installed please test voltage witha voltage reader prior to installation to determine theoutput voltage is no higher than 12 VOLTS.
