The design of the Posi Lock Nut incorporates a threaded inner ring, an outer threaded clamp locking ring, and a snap ring so your axle nut is not susceptible to vibrations or harmonics that would otherwise cause it to work loose. The Posi Lock is used in a similar way as your axle nut and requires no modification to your axle. In fact, it has fewer pieces than most nuts for simple and more effective usage.
