The V2 Concept2 tire is an economical high performance all-Season tire for mid-tier sports cars, sporty coupes and sedans. This high performance Hankook tire has an emphasis on styling and all-season performance in dry, wet and even snow and ice. The Ventus V2 concept2 tire features a high-grip, silica-enhanced tread compound for long treadwear with lower rolling resistance that promotes vehicle fuel economy. The tread is directional, with a continuous center rib flanked by interlocking intermediblocks and notched shoulders to increase steering response and braking performance. Four wide circumferential grooves and a V-shaped tread pattern help drain water from under the contact patch to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while shoulder block notches, 3D intermeditread blocks and sipes increase the number of biting edges. The tire’s internal structure features two wide steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped, high-density nylon to help keep the footprint contact pressure stable even during hard cornering and performance driving.
